ALLEGRA MADSEN - Executive Director Frameline San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival
Allegra is originally from the Great Dismal Swamp on the coast of Southern Virginia. In search of lands less dreary, she moved to California and attended the California College of Art where she received her MA in Curatorial Practice. Her interests in art, cultural production, and public programming have been centered on building a platform for cultural activity that promotes deep community investment. Film has played a critical role in achieving this mission. Allegra is currently serving as Executive Director of Frameline San Francisco International LGBTQ+ Film Festival. In both her current role and her previous position as Frameline’s Director of Programming, she has been devoted to working in and with diverse communities to develop programs that are accessible, inclusive, and promote critical cultural dialogue. Madsen was previously the Director of Programming at The Bayview Opera House one of San Francisco’s historic cultural centers where she created the Black Light Cinema screening series with the goal of providing a platform for the voice of San Francisco’s last Black community. She also developed and programmed the PROXY Outdoor Film Festivals.
KATHLEEN MULLEN - Letter K Media Director, Senior Programmer at Vancouver Queer Film Festival, and Programmer At Large
Kathleen Mullen (she/her) grew up queer in Edmonton, Alberta and the San Francisco Bay Area. She has contributed to the planning and programming of film and art festivals nationally and internationally as curator, programmer, and festival director. Kathleen currently is Senior Programmer at Vancouver Queer Film Festival, and programming for Frameline: San Francisco LGBTQ+ Film Festival, Seattle International Film Festival, Victoria Film Festival, and Sustainable Production Forum. She teaches the student-led Skoden Indigenous Film Festival at Simon Fraser University and the Lesley Independent Film Festival at Lesley University in Boston. She led the programming and operations as Festival Director of the Seattle Queer Film Festival produced by Three Dollar Bill Cinema. Kathleen has written and directed the films you wash my skin with sunshine, Sleep Lines, Button OUT!, and Breathtaking.
MATT SALTON – Executive Director, ReelOut Queer Film Festival, Kingston, Canada
Matt Salton is an actor, director of film & stage and is currently the executive director of the ReelOut Queer Film Festival in Kingston, Canada. Matt has been a programmer and curator for film festivals for the past 24 years. He is a graduate of SAIT's Film & Media Program and was the former festival director of the FairyTales Queer Film Festival, both in Calgary Alberta. Matt is thrilled to be a part of the glow from OUTSHINE.

JACK FIERA - GenreQueer & Shorts Programmer at Milwaukee Film
Jack Feria (he/they) is a film festival programmer and chamber of commerce leader based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jack has served in various development, education, and programming roles with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee LGBT Resource Center, Milwaukee LGBT Film/Video Festival, Milwaukee Film, and In Tandem Theatre. In 2018, Jack’s work at Milwaukee Film helped launch GenreQueer, a year round program of documentary and fiction films spotlighting LGBTQ+ narratives. Now in their eighth year of film programming, they currently serve as Milwaukee Film’s GenreQueer and Shorts Programmer. In addition to his role in film festival programming, Jack represents the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce as their Membership and Events Director. When Jack isn't networking or watching screeners, you can find him obsessively planning his next theatre-centric trip to New York.
ERIN FARRELL – Director of Exhibition and Educational Sales at Film Movement
Erin Farrell is the current Director of Exhibition and Educational Sales at Film Movement, a NY-based distributor of foreign and independent films and restorations.
ANDREA KRAUSS – Director of Programming, Hawaii Rainbow Film Festival
With over two decades of experience in the television, film, and video industry, Andrea has carved a niche in independent filmmaking. A seasoned producer, Andrea’s producing credits include Dalila Ali Rajah’s short film “Secret & Toys” with Quentin Lee directing, “Grown This Way” and “Cock N’ Bull2” both directed by Nathan Adloff. Additionally, Andrea produced the engaging docu-series “Cinema Conversations with Stephen P. Jarchow”, for Here Television. Renowned for a keen eye for compelling stories and a commitment to innovative storytelling, Andrea continues to champion unique voices in the film industry as the current Programming Director of the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival. Recently, Andrea co-founded and programmed the newly launched German film festival “FilmFreude Honolulu” which had its debut March 2024.
